Reese Slaughter

Elementary Principal, Title I Coord, HS Counselor

Reese Slaughter came to Bremen in 1962 as elementary school principal and high school counselor. In 1963, Reese served as head football coach for one year after Coach Prosser left, and became the Title I Coordinator and Athletic Director. He was instrumental in helping the new elementary school become accredited. When he retired from education in 1982, the Kindergarten Building at H.A. Jones Elementary School was named in his honor.
