Reese Crawford
"The Man Who Loved Bremen High School Football"
Reese became a fixture on the sidelines carrying chains for over forty years at BHS’s football field, both here and at the old location where the city water tower now stands. His role as a proud parent was his incentive to volunteer with the chain gang. In the late 1940s, he followed the exploits of his son Chuck Crawford and his teammates. But the Blue Devil spirit got into his blood, and he continued his sideline duties for many more years.
